Our Story
HeartSpace Arts Center was founded in January 2025 by parents who wanted more for their children than programs that expect perfection before belonging. Like many families, we saw our kids being left behind simply because they didn’t fit a narrow definition of success.
After participating in a temporary arts program, we witnessed powerful changes in our own children. Through creative expression, they gained confidence, improved their mental well-being, and built meaningful social connections. That experience inspired us to create a space where every child is welcome, regardless of skill level or background.
HeartSpace Arts Center offers inclusive programs in visual, performing, and literary arts, designed to support emotional growth, self-expression, and life skills. During our pilot year, we learned how art-based and art-therapy-informed activities help children engage, express themselves, and grow in ways words alone cannot.
In a technology-driven world where many kids feel isolated and disconnected, HeartSpace Arts Center exists to be a place of belonging. A place where children can open their hearts, share their stories, and grow into confident, creative individuals with a deeper connection to themselves and others.
