Development Director
Nhue Vang Miller is a human services professional with more than a decade of experience supporting underserved individuals, families, and youth across Brown County. Raised in Green Bay after being born in Chicago, she has deep roots in the community and a long-standing commitment to advocacy, stability, and empowerment for those navigating trauma, hardship, and housing insecurity.
Nhue earned her bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Human Development from the University of Wisconsin Green Bay, with a minor in Women and Gender Studies. Her career has included mentoring at-risk youth in after-school settings, advocating for survivors at a sexual assault center, conducting home visitations with families at risk, and currently serving individuals and families who are often experiencing homelessness through a local clinic. Across every role, she brings a grounded, compassionate approach that meets people where they are and helps them build tools for confidence, resilience, and long-term growth.
Outside of her professional work, Nhue values creativity and individuality. She enjoys fashion, music, and singing, and believes self-expression is a powerful pathway to healing and self-worth. Some of her most meaningful experiences came from forming a dance group with her cousins, creating routines together, and finding connection and emotional support through movement. Those experiences shaped her belief that the arts can provide a safe space for young people to be seen, supported, and understood.
Nhue is honored to help build HeartSpace Arts Center and bring its mission to life. She is committed to creating a welcoming environment where youth can express themselves, strengthen their self-confidence, and learn to love who they are, flaws and all.
Nhue V. Miller offers a distinctive combination of expertise that directly supports the growth, stability, and long term success of HeartSpace Arts Center.
